CONFIGURING MAIL SETTINGS

You can turn OFF the DEFAULT SERVER and adjust the SERVER, PORT, SECURITY, USER, and PASSWORD boxes so email notications are sent through
the mail server of your personal e-mail address.
NOTE: It is recommended that you leave the DEFAULT SERVER enabled and do NOT enter alternate mail settings. If you would like to
change the DVR’s mail settings, contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) or Mail Service Provider (MSP) to congure these settings.

MAKING CHANGES TO THE DVR’S SETTINGS THROUGH THE REMOTE VIEWER

For added convenience, this DVR system allows you to make changes to almost all of the DVR’s settings through the remote
software (network settings and certain display options are excluded).
NOTE: Only ADMIN users have the authority to change settings. For more information on permission levels, please refer to MAKING
CHANGES TO THE USER MANAGEMENT MENU, pg.47.
ENTERING SETUP
1. You can enter the setup menus while in live display or search
mode. Simply click the setup icon.
2. Enter the password that corresponds with the user ID
displayed.
3. Click OK.
NOTE: Only one person can access the DVR’s settings at a time. If someone else is accessing a menu (remotely or on
the DVR itself) you will receive an error message and will not be able to access the menus until the person
exits out of the menu.
