Wouldn’t it be nice to have your five most
prominent contacts availa ble for calling by the
push of a button?
This is what Speed.Dials is all about. T he five
soft keys at the top of the keypad can b e
assigned for this – pretty mu ch in the same
way as favourites or bookmarks in y our web
browser. Note that you are not restric ted
to use Speed Dials for video calls on ly. Any
mixture of video and telephon e calls is fully
acceptable.
You assign those five buttons in the G eneral
Settings menu described in A dminstrator’s
Guide (separate document). Note th at your
System Adminstrator may, or may not, hav e
password protection activ ated to prevent
unauthorized alterations of t hese and other
settings. If in doubt, consult yo ur System
Adminstrator.

Using Speed Dials to make calls is ver y easy.
Just press the correspondi ng soft key and the
call will be made. No need to worr y about the
Call Settings – they are defined by t he Phone
Book settings for that par ticular entry. Note! You must assign at
least one of your contacts
to the Speed Dials feature
to make these soft keys
appear.
