 Open the Call Menu using any of these f ive methods:

Press the green Call key
Press any digit 09
Press the Loudspeaker key
Press the Headphone key
Lift the optional handset .
 Use the Cursor keys to navigate to CallSet tings  Press OK or press the Right Cur sor key again to produce 
the submenu.
 Adjust settings as required.
If you want to change the Default Call 
Settings, make the required chan ges 
to the Call Settings and navigate to 
Set as Default. Press OK to save 
these settings, which now will be t he 
default settings for all future m anually 
dialled calls.

Bandwidth determines the 
quality of the video picture. T he 
system will, by default, connect 
using Auto Bandwidth. This 
means that the system will 
establish a connection using a 
proper bandwidth for your c all. 
The typical bandwidth us ed 
for IP calls is 384 kbps. When 
bandwidth is set to Auto, the 
unit will default to 384kbps. 
The Net
alternatives are: 
H.323 and SIP.
If a gatekeeper is present, you may 
place IP-calls using “tel ephone-style” 
numbers (an E.164 alias), according 
to the numbering plan impleme nted 
in the gatekeeper. The gatekeeper will 
then translate the dialled numb er into 
an IP-address (see H.323 Sett ings 
in the Adminstrator’s Guide for mor e 
information about gatekeep ers).
