outlined here, you may just as well 
expand an ongoing call to become 
a conference by pressing the gr een 

Call now key, move the cursor to Add 

another Call and continue as shown o n 
this page.
Initiating a Video Conference From Your 150 MXP
Your TANDBERG 150 MXP may be used 
to initiate video conferences w ith several 
participants, provide d that: 
All parties to be involved are ava ilable 
through H.323. 
You are connected to an MCU (Multi-
Conference Unit) support ing this.
Your TANDBERG 150 
MXP is set up to allow 
the use of external Multiway. This is set u p 
by your administrator and is descr ibed in 
the Administrator’s Guide.
Since the call transfer feature m akes use of 
SIP and the conference initia lization feature 
makes use of H.323, the two features ca nnot 
be combined in a single session!

Setting Up a Conference (optional feature)Requirements

  Prepare to make a call in the usual way, 
either by entering the “number” m anually 
or by making use of the phone book.
  Move the cursor to the Add another C all
icon and press OK.  Move cursor t o the new line that was 
added and repeat the proce dure to add a 
participant.
  Repeat 

and 

until all participants 
required have been added.   The s ystem will now disconnect you and 
transfer the video conferen ce to the MCU 
(Multi-Conference U nit). All participants, 
including yourself will be calle d by the 
MCU and the conference can st art.
  If you – as initiator – disconnects the call, 
the entire conference will be ter minated. 
If any of the other participan ts 
disconnects, the conferen ce continues 
without the disconnected p erson.
