5 Configuring the Gatekeeper
This chapter lists the basic usage of each command. The commands also support more
advanced usage, which is outside the scope of this document.
5.1 Status
The status root command, xstatus, returns status information from the Gatekeeper.
To list all xstatus commands type

Command Usage Description
Calls xstatus Calls
xstatus Calls Call <n>
Returns a list of active calls on the system or information
about a specific call.
Ethernet xstatus Ethernet MacAddress Reports the active configuration of the Ethernet interface.
MacAddress: The MAC address of the LAN 1 interface.
Speed: The speed of the Ethernet link. Reports Down if
the link is down or not connected.
ExternalManager xstatus ExternalManager Returns the IP address, protocol and URL of the External
Manager. The External Manager is the remote system
(such as the Tandberg Management System (TMS)) used
to manage the endpoints and network infrastructure.
Feedback xstatus Feedback
xstatus Feedback <n>
Returns all currently registered feedback expressions or the
feedback expression at index n
IP xstatus IP Returns the active IP configuration of the system with IP
address, subnet mask and gateway.
Note that if you have changed the IP configuration without
rebooting, xstatus IP will return the original settings
currently in effect.
LDAP xstatus Ldap Reports the status of any connection to an LDAP server.
Links xstatus Links Reports call and bandwidth information for all links on the
system.
Pipes xstatus Pipes Reports call and bandwidth information for all pipes on the
system.

Registration <n>
Returns a list of registered endpoints on the system or
information about a specific registration.
