VIDEO

Press TV/VIDEO on the remote control to view the selected input signal (TV) or the audio/video source connected to the TV’s input jacks (VIDEO).

USING AUTOMATIC AND MANUAL CHANNEL PROGRAMMING

When you turn on the TV for the first time, use the automatic channel pro- gramming feature to scan and memo- rize all active broadcast and cable channels in your area. If there are ad- ditional channels you want to add or delete, you can manually add or delete them.

Using Automatic

Programming

1.Press TV/VIDEO so TV is selected.

2.Press SET-UPon the remote con- trol or FUNCTION on the front panel until AUTO PROGRAM ap- pears on the screen.

3.Press VOL + or . The TV auto- matically scans and memorizes all active channels in your area.

Note: You can press any button on the remote control or front panel to stop automatic program- ming.

When the TV has scanned and stored all active channels, it stops on the nearest programmed chan- nel to where you started.

Now, when you press CH + or , the TV skips inactive channels.

Note: If the TV is unplugged for more than 24 hours, you must repeat auto- matic channel programming to restore channels in memory.

Manually Adding a Channel

To add a channel that was not stored during automatic programming, follow these steps.

1.Press TV/VIDEO so TV is selected.
