6 − Recording

The SS-R1 can record MP3 or WAV format (44.1/48 kHz) audio to a CompactFlash card.

The following explanations assume that a recordable CompactFlash card has been inserted, that the necessary connections have been completed, and that the SS-R1 is powered-on.

Selecting the input source

You can select the input source (recording source) from three types of input: analog balanced, analog unbalanced, and digital.

To select an input source you can use the menu or the remote’s INPUT SEL key.

NOTE

You can’t change the input source during recording.

Each time you press the INPUT SEL key you will cycle through the three input source.
