Sync Record operation

When you put the SS-R1 in record-ready condition with the Sync Record function on, recording will automatically start or stop according to the level of the input source.

• When a signal higher than the sync level is input,
recording will begin automatically.

NOTE

The above explanation is for the case when the DELAY setting is “0” (the default setting). By changing the DELAY setting, you can change the “record start” point.

While recording, if the input signal stays below the sync level for the duration specified by STOP TIME (default: 5 seconds), the SS-R1 will auto- matically switch to the record-ready condition.

If you set the STOP TIME to INF, the record-pause state will not be entered even though the input signal falls below the sync level.
