Cautions regarding use of remote control

Do not ex pose the re mote contro l to shock. In addition,
do not e xpose the rem ote control to liquids, an d do not
place in an area with h igh humidity.

Do not install or p lace the remote co ntrol under direct
sunlight. The heat may cause deformation of the unit.

strong lighting. I n such a case, chan ge the angle of the
lighting or LCD TV s et, or operate the re mote control
closer to the remo te sensor win dow.

Batteri es for t he Rem ote Con trol
If the remote contro l fails to op erate the LCD TV functio ns, replace th e batteries in the remo te contro l.
Open the battery cover. Insert batteries (size-AAA batteries,
supplied with product).
Replace the cover and slide in reverse
until the lock snaps .
(Slide the cover while pressing
down.)
(Place the bat teries with their
terminals corresp onding to the (+)
and (–) indic ations in th e battery
compartm ent.

Precaution on battery use

Improper use of batteries can result in a leakage of chemicals and/or explosion. Be sure to follow the instructions below.

Place batteries with their terminals corresponding to the (+) and (–) indications.
z
Only use the battery types specified.
z
Do not use rechargeable batteries.
z
Different types of batteries have different characteristics. Do not mix batteries of different types.
z
Do not mix old and new batteries. Mixing old and new batteries can shorten the life of new batteries and/or cause old
batteries to leak chemicals.
z
Do not expose batteries to excessive heat, throw them in a fire, recharge them or try to open them, as this could cause
them to leak or explode.
z
Remove the b atteries fr om the remote con trol if you are not usin g it for a long period of time (several weeks).
z
Remove batteries as soon as they are non-operable. Chemicals that leak from batteries can cause a rash. If chemical
leakage is found, wipe with a cloth.
z
The batteries supplied with the product may have a shorter life expectancy due to storage conditions.
z
If the remote control is not used for an extended period of time, remove the batteries from the remote control.
