Loading batteries in the remote control unit
Battery loading method
ÖRemove the battery cover on the rear, insert 2 batteries matching the polarities (», á) to the indications in the compartment and fit the cover back in its the original position.
Caution on batteries
ÖLoad batteries with correct » and á orientations as indicated inside the battery compartment.
ÖDo not use new and used batteries together.
ÖEven when two batteries have the same shape, their rated output voltages may sometimes differ. Therefore, do not use different types of batteries together.
ÖSome batteries are rechargeable, while others are not. Read the instructions indicated on the batteries carefully before use.
ÖThe battery life is about 6 months under normal use. When the remote control unit is not to be used for a long period (more than 1 month), be sure to remove the batteries.
ÖShould battery fluid leak, wipe the inside of the battery compartment well, and then load new batteries.
Caution on the operation of the remote control
ÖRemote control may not be possible if there is an obstacle between the remote control and the main unit, or if the remote control is used at too great an angle to the main unit.
ÖErrors in operation may occur if a strong light is shining on the remote control receiver on the main unit.
ÖErrors in operation may occur if the main unit is used near equipment radiating infrared rays, or if an infrared remote control from other equipment is used near the main unit. The infrared remote control could also cause other equipment to operate incorrectly.
ÖReplace the batteries when the remote control range of operation decreases or becomes intermittent.
