MODES OF RECORDING
This section introduces the modes of recording available with this unit.
Ö Automatic
The track numbers are updated automatically by this unit.
Please note: Automatic synchro recording is only possible when using the optical or coaxial digital inputs to the unit. The AES/EBU digital input does not carry the start and stop information required.
This unit provides five modes of recording on
Automatic digital-source synchro recording (1-track)
When the source component starts to play, one track is recorded, recording then stops at the end of the track. This mode is convenient for compilation recording from various sources, CD, DAT, MD or DCC. (Refer to page 54 for the recording set up procedure)
Automatic
When the source component starts to play, all tracks are recorded and the recording automatically stops after the last track. This mode is convenient for recording an entire CD, DAT, MD or DCC. (Refer to page 58 for the recording
Automatic finalization recording
This mode automatically finalizes the disc after an
Manual digital source recording
This recording mode is used for recording from digital sources other than those referred to above, or when manual control of the recording is required. Recording is started and stopped manually. (Refer to page 62 for the recording set up procedure)
Analog-source recording
This mode is used for recording the line output of the source equipment. (Refer to page 64 for the recording
