The remote control

JYour remote control enables you to both control the video recorder and the television set depending on the

vcr/dvd/tv button position. There is a risk that the remote control may not be compatible with the television set depending on the model or also that some functions may not be available.

Programming the remote control with the TV, other video recorder or a THOMSON DVD code.

JYour remote control may also be used to control various other televisions, video recorders, and THOMSON DVD players. In order to be able to do this, you must programme the remote control with one of the codes provided above or on page 26.

1Set vcr/dvd/tv button to tv, vcrb or dvd, depending on the appliance you wish to control.

2Hold down menu key (13) and enter the three-digit code corresponding to the make of your television set or the other video recorder. In the case of a THOMSON DVD, enter the code 000.

3Release key menu (13) and try to control the television set.

JShould the code which you have entered not work, try another code proposed for this make. When you replace batteries of the remote control, you should re-enter the three-digit code.
