[A] DVD player with 5.1ch output

This unit has the input terminals for 5.1ch surround systems but

it does not have the decoders necessary to play them back. The

DVD player should have these decoders and 5.1ch output.

To record sound from the DVD player

Connect to AUX (DVD).

Subwoofer

The included front speakers have subwoofers, but you can en-

hance surround sound from a unit connected to DVD 6ch

INPUT by connecting another subwoofer to SUBWOOFER

OUT (➡ page 24 for operation).

[B] DVD player/Laser disc player (without 5.1ch output),

etc.

This unit has Dolby Pro Logic circuitry. The sound will be repro-

duced with the same powerful stereophonic effects found in

movie theaters.

[C] Video cassette recorder

You can enjoy the sound from your video cassette recorder.
