Learning about the remote control
The buttons used for operating the LCD TV / DVD
combination are described here. For the REGZA-
LINK® remote control functions, see the section
“ Using REGZA-LINK® ” ( page 50).
Note: The error message “NOT AVAILABLE”
may appear if you press a key for a function
that is not available.
1 POWER turns the TV on and off. When the TV is
on, the power LED indicator on the TV front will be
illuminated in green.
2 EJECT ejects the disc from the disc slot.
3 TV/DVD
TV/DVD
switches to TV or DVD mode.
4 FREEZE
FREEZE
freezes the picture. Press again to restore
the moving picture (page 37).
5 INPUT INPUT selects the video input source ( page 30).
6 Channel Numbers directly tune channels.
7 FAV accesses the Favorites List in the Channel
Browser
TM
( page 31).
8 100 uses to enter two part channel numbers
( page 34) or to edit the Favorites List ( page 31).
9 PIC MODE selects the picture mode (page 37).
10 PIC SIZE cycles through the picture sizes
(page 34).
11 MUTE reduces or turns off the sound ( page 39).
12 SLEEP accesses the sleep timer ( page 49).
13 DISPLAY / INFO displays TV status information as
well as program details, when available ( page 52).

CH cycles through programmed channels when
no menu is on-screen ( page 34).
15 VOL + – adjusts the volume level.
16 DVD MENU accesses the DVD menu
( page 60).
17 CH RTN returns to the last viewed channel or
source (page 34).
18 AUDIO / MTS selects the audio mode in ANT/
CABLE source ( page 40); selects the DVD
soundtrack language or VCD audio channel in DVD
mode (page 61).
19 SETUP / MENU accesses the main TV menu system
( page 25); configures the disc playback settings
( page 67).
20 SUBTITLE / CC
SUBTITLE : selects the subtitle language or switches
subtitle off in DVD mode ( page 61).
CC : opens the closed caption selector in ANT/CABLE
source ( page 39).
21 OK activates highlighted items in the main menu
system.
22 W / X While watching TV, these buttons open the
Channel Browser
TM
and tune to the previous/next
channel in the channel history ( page 32). (Also see
“Arrow buttons.”)
