Learning about the remote control

The buttons used for operating the TV only are described here.

POWER turns the TV on and off.

Press POWER to turn on the TV. Press POWER again to turn off the TV (standby mode).

RECALL displays TV settings on-screen (page 50)

SLEEP sets the TV to turn off at a specific time (page 46)

TV/VIDEO selects the video input source (page 44)

CH RTN switches between the last two viewed channels (page 26)

MENU opens the menu system (page 22)

ENTER activates the function settings in the menu or selects the next menu (page 22)

y z x • (arrow buttons) select or adjust menu items (page 22)

FAV y z cycle through channels you programmed as favorite channels (page 27)

PIC SIZE cycles through the five picture sizes: Natural, TheaterWide1/2/3, and Full (page 29)

EXIT closes the menu system (page 22)

FREEZE freezes the picture. Press again to restore the moving picture.
