The SRS 3D surround sound feature expands the audio listening field wider and deeper to create exceptional sound quality from the TV’s speakers. The feature uses stereo signals from a TV broadcast or video input.
To turn on the SRS 3D surround:1.Select STEREO mode (see “Selecting stereo/SAP broadcasts” on page 44).2.Press MENU, and then press x or • until the THEATER menu appears.3.Press y or z to highlight SRS 3D.4.Press x or • to highlight ON.THEATER |

In general, you can leave the SRS 3D feature set to ON because it will automatically output the type of sound being broadcast (surround stereo or monaural).
Adjusting the sound qualityYou can change the quality of your TV’s sound by adjusting the bass, treble, and balance.
To adjust the sound quality:1.Press MENU, and then press x or • until the AUDIO menu appears.
2.Press y or z to highlight the item you want to adjust.Note:
If the broadcast is monaural, the SRS 3D effect does not work.
