Setting the On Timer

You can set the on timer to automatically turn on the TV to a preset channel or input at a preset time.

To activate the On Timer:

1From the APPLICATIONS menu, highlight On Timer and press OK .

2Press B or b to select Enable On Timer, and then press C or c to select On.

Note: If the Enable On Timer is set to Off, other menus under On Timer cannot be changed.

To set the On Timer:

1From the APPLICATIONS menu, highlight On Timer and press OK .

2Press B or b to highlight the item you want to change, and then press C, c or the number buttons to make your desired adjustment.

3Highlight Done, and then press OK .

Note:

•When the On Timer is set to On, the On Timer LED is turned on (- “LED indications” on page 85).

•If you do not operate the TV for 1 hour after it is powered on by the On Timer feature, the TV will automatically turn itself off.

To cancel the On Timer:

1From the APPLICATIONS menu, highlight On Timer and press OK .

2Press B or b to select Enable On Timer.

3Press C or c to select Off.

Setting the Sleep Timer

You can set the sleep timer to turn off the TV after a set length of time (maximum of 12 hours).

To set the sleep timer using the remote control:

Press [ to set the length of time until the TV turns off. Repeatedly press [ to increase the time in 10-minute increments, or press B or b to increase or decrease the time in 10-minute increments, to a maximum of 12 hours.

To set the sleep timer using the on-screen menus:

1From the APPLICATIONS menu, highlight Sleep Timer.

2Press the number buttons to enter the length of time or press C, c or the number buttons to increase or decrease in 10-minute increments (maximum of 12 hours).

Note: When a power failure occurs, the sleep timer setting may be cleared.

To display the remaining sleep time:

Press [.

To cancel the sleep timer:

Press [ repeatedly or press B or b until it is set to 0 minutes.
