Chapter 6: Using the TV’s advanced features

Using the Color Management Pro feature

The new color management pro feature allows you to adjust standard colors as well as create 3 custom user colors. The menu will consist of 3 items: color management control, color palette adjustment, and reset.

Turning the Color Management Pro on:

1 Press Yand open the Video menu.

Note: If you select one of the factory-set picture modes (Sports, Standard, or Movie) and then set the Color Management Pro to On, the picture mode automatically changes to Preference.

Turning Color Management off:

Select Off in Step 3 above.

To use the Color Palette Adjustment

When the color palette adjustment is selected, the list of base colors and user colors will be displayed. You can select a base color to adjust or choose to create a user color.

Note: To use the Color Palette Adjustment, the Color Management must be set to On.

To adjust the Base Colors:

1 From the Color Management Pro menu, highlight Color Palette Adjustment and press T.

2 The Select Standard Color window will be displayed.

Press B or b to highlight the color you want to adjust, and then press T.

3 The Color Adjustment window will be displayed. Press Bto freeze the picture.

To return to the moving picture, press Bagain.

4 Press B or b to select either Hue, Saturation, or Brightness, and then press C and c to adjust the setting.

Note: Press fto return to the Hue, Saturation, and Brightness to their factory settings for the selected color.

5 Press Rto return to the previous menu.

6 Repeat steps 2 through 5 to adjust any other color.

To adjust the User Colors:

1 From the Color Management Pro menu, highlight Color Palette Adjustment, and then press T.

2 The Select Standard Color window will be displayed.

Press B or b to highlight either User 1, User 2, or User 3 mode, and then press T.
