Chapter 8: Using the TV’s features

Using the POP features (continued)

Using the favorite channel search feature

You can use the favorite channel search feature to quickly scan the channels you programmed as favorite channels in a seven-picture POP multi-window.

Note: The favorite channel search feature will not work unless you program channels into the favorite channel memory (see “Programming your favorite channels” on page 44).

To scan and tune your favorite channels:

1.Press FAV. The TV automatically enters POP multi-window mode, and begins a seven-picture scan of your favorite channels.

The favorite channels in Set 1 appear first. To view the favorite channels in Set 2, press SWAP.

NOTICE OF POSSIBLE ADVERSE EFFECTS ON TV PICTURE TUBE

Avoid displaying stationary images on your TV screen for extended periods of time. Fixed (non-moving) images (such as still PIP/POP windows or black/gray bars in wide-screen picture or PIP/POP formats) can become permanently engrained in the picture tube. This type of damage is NOT COVERED BY YOUR WARRANTY because it is the result of misuse. See item 33 on page 4.
