PC Diagnostic Tool

This utility can help diagnose problems with devices in your

computer. Refer to the online help documentation within the

application for any additional help.

To start this utility:

1Click Start, All Programs, Tosh ib a, Utilities, and click

Computer Diagnostics.

The PC Diagnostic Tool window appears.

2Select the devices that you would like to test by clicking

the check box that appears to the left of the device.

Click the + (plus) and - (minus) symbols to expand and

collapse the categories.

3Click Start Diagnostics when you are ready to begin the

tests.

The disc will not come out of the drive when you click the eject button on the screen. Sound system problems You do not hear any sound from the computer. The modem is on, set up properly and still will not transmit or receive data. The Windows XP wireless management facility does not work. DVD operating problems A blank screen appears while watching a DVD-ROM movie or title. Jumping video lines appear around the DVD-ROM video window. DVD titles, games, or applications appear distorted. The screen saver runs while you are watching a movie or title.
