Transferring Tracks from a Music CD to the gigabeat with the Touch of a Button

Using the r Button on the USB CRADLE, tracks can be transferred from a music CD to the gigabeat with the touch of a button.

aUse the USB CRADLE to connect the PC and the gigabeat.

bInsert the music CD in the CD-ROM drive of your PC.

cPress r Button on the USB CRADLE.

gigabeat room will start automatically and tracks transfer of the music CD will begin.

/Note

-When tracks are encrypted and transferred, their file names will change to [Original file name]. SAT.

-To transfer tracks by using the r Button, it is necessary to have gigabeat watcher running on the PC.

Confirm that gigabeat watcher icon is displayed in color in the task bar. If it is not launched, click “gigabeat watcher 3.0” in “TOSHIBA gigabeat room 3.0” from “All Programs” in the Start menu.

-The r Button functions even if the USB/LINE OUT selector switch of the USB CRADLE is not set to “USB”.
