Status display

This display indicates the camera’s status. You can verify the camera’s status even if the LCD monitor is not on.

The text, numbers and icons that are displayed in the status display vary according to the setting. The status display backlight lights for about five seconds in the following instances:

When the shutter button is pressed

When one of the self-timer, image quality or flash buttons is pressed
