Use the or buttons to select [PROTECT] and press the button.

The PROTECT menu is displayed.

Basic Photography

Use the or buttons to select the desired image to protect, and press the ENTER button.

This fixes the image to be protected, and [ ] is displayed under the image.

To cancel the selection, press the ENTER button again.

To write-protect two or more images, repeat this procedure for each image.

Playing Back/ Erasing Images

Use the or buttons to select [EXEC], and press the ENTER button.

To quit write-protection, select [CANCEL].

When write-protection ends, the screen returns to the PLAY MENU.

To quit the PLAY MENU, press the MENU button.

Memo

•When the PROTECT setup screen is displayed again, [ ] is displayed under protected images.

•To cancel write-protection for an image, write-protection is simultaneously canceled if set at step 4.
