Taking Photographs in a Variety of Modes ([] Mode) (continued)

[ ] Sports

Select this option to take photographs of fast-moving subjects.

[ ] Night

Select this option to take photographs of people against a dusk or night-time background.

Memo

When the Night mode is selected, the flash mode is fixed to Slow Synchro (the flash is fired at a slower shutter speed.)

If you take a photograph with a dark background or at a dark place, the shutter speed slows down, and the slow shutter speed warning is displayed. (When the shutter is pressed

halfway down, the viewfinder LED blinks green and the slow

shutter speed mark [ ] is displayed in the LCD monitor.) To prevent distorted image, we recommend using a tripod to keep the camera stable.
