Preparation

Make sure that a disc you want to play is compatible with this player. 31

Set “Priority Contents 2” to “Audio” from the on-screen display. 74

Place a CD that contains MP3/WMA

1 files on the disc holder and close the disc cover.

Press PLAY.

PLAY

Playback starts.

3 To stop playback, press STOP.

STOP

To pause playback

Press PAUSE/STEP during playback.

PAUSE/STEP

To resume normal playback, press the

PLAY button.

Selecting a track (file name) in the disc

1 Press the MENU button.

A list of file names appears.

The current file name being played is highlighted in green.

2Press the / / / buttons to select a file name you want to play.

The selected file name is highlighted in blue.

3Press the ENTER button to begin playback of the selected file name.

Notes

Some discs may not permit this operation.

WMA tracks copy-protected cannot be played.

The BITSTREAM/PCM jack outputs MP3/WMA sounds in the linear PCM format regardless of the current “Audio Out Select” selection. 69

If you stop playback by pressing the STOP button, and then press the PLAY button, playback will start from the beginning of the track.

The SKIP 29 , REPEAT 55 and RANDOM 56 functions are also available.
