S-VHS allows you to make high quality video recordings with a horizontal resolution of 400 lines compared with 240 lines of resolution of normal VHS recordings.

To record from other connected equipment

In step 3 , press I.SELECT to switch the display as follows:

LI: To record via the LINE IN 1 jacks or the LINE IN 1 S- VIDEO jack on the rear panel. L2: To record via the LINE IN

2 jacks or LINE IN 2 S-VIDEO jack on the front panel.

S-VIDEO jack will be selected if both LINE IN and S-VIDEO jacks are connected.

Cassette marked with “S-VHS” should be used.
