Manual installation

In most cases, the INSTALL program can make all system changes necessary for using your PCMCIA 10/100 Mbps Ethernet Card. However, in some cases, you may wish to make changes manually. This section explains how to manually make driver and file modifications to enable your card.

Enablers

You can use CARDGO.EXE to enable the PCMCIA 10/100 Mbps Ethernet Card.

The CARDGO program

The program CARDGO.EXE communicates with the PC Card controller of your computer. This program is needed only for DOS environment network operating systems. You may install the Socket and Card Services to your notebook before executing
