7. Electrical Connections

The SRCOOL33K is a corded device that comes with an L6-30 cord assembly. This cord set can be removed for an optional hardwire installation. The SRXCOOL33K has connections for hardwire service or a user supplied input cord assembly.

7.1 Swapping Input Power Cord Connection (SRCOOL33K only)

The SRCOOL33K is furnished with two points of possible mains power input, one at the top of the unit and one at the bottom. Neither is recommended over the other and a circuit inside the unit only allows one to be used at a time. If the unit is connected to mains power input at both points, it will default to receiving power from the input at the bottom of the unit.

To switch the point of mains power input from bottom to top, use the following procedures. Reverse procedure to move point of input from top to bottom.

WARNING! Make sure the unit is powered down and disconnected from any mains power input when adjusting the electrical connections. Personal injury and damage to the unit will result if the unit is powered during these procedures.
