Answering an Intercom Page
When the intercompage tone sounds,the display willshow the IDof the station thatis

or the ANSWER soft key on the base). Or press a number key, ['X't0ne], or [#] (when
Any Key Answer is enabled), or pick up the handset from the cradle (when AutoTalk is on).
To hang up an intercom page, press the END soft key or [.)]on either handset (or [int'com/hold], on the
base).
If the party is busy, the handset returns to standby. Ifthe party is out ofrange, UNAVAILABLE appears in the
display and the operation wilt be canceled.
If you receive an outside or intercom call or page while selecting the other handset, the operation is canceled.
If you do not select ahandset within 30 seconds, the operation wilt be canceled.
If the party does not answer within one minute, the operation is canceled.

Room/Baby Monitor

This feature allows you to monitor sounds in another room. Place a
handset (or the base) in the room you wish to monitor; it wilt function as
a microphone. Another handset (or the base) can be set tofunction as a
remote speaker, allowing you to monitor sounds in the room.
1) Press the MENU soft key and enter the Room Monitor menu. TO
WHICH UNIT? appears.
2) Select the handset or base you want to monitor by using [_] or
[',-].
