Chain Dialing

If you often have to enter a series of digit s or a code number durin g a call, you can
save that code number to a phonebook entr y and use the phonebook t o send the
code number.
1. Enter the code numb er (up to 32 digits) into the phonebook ju st like a regula r
phonebook entry. Be sure to enter the code nu mber into the phonebook ex actly
as you would enter it during a call .
2. When you hear the pr ompt that tells you to enter t he number, open the
phonebook and find the entry t hat contains your co de number.
3. Press
menu/select
twice to send the code. If you cha nge your mind, just clo se the
phonebook.

Voice Message Notication

If you subscribe to a land line’s voice ma il service, you r phone can notify yo u when
you have a new message. This featur e supports Frequency-Sh ift Keying (FSK )
notification. Contact you r voice mail provider for i nformation.
When you have new messages, the di splay shows a message icon. To acces s your
voice mail, press
message/mute
and select
Voice Mail
.

, you will be prompted to enter a Voice Mail
Access number if you have not yet set one up (see pa ge 10). If you have
already set one up, your phone will dia l it.
After you listen to your messa ges, the message icon t urns off. If it does n’t, you can
reset it: With the phone in standby, open t he menu and select
Global Setup
; select
VMWI Reset
, then select
Yes
.
If you change voice mail providers , you can edit your voice ma il number. Open the
menu and select Global Setup/Ed it Voice Mail.
