Making and Receiving Calls

From the handset

On the handset, you may also use the speakerphone while talking to an outside call. Using the handset speakerphone is called “hands-free conversation”. This feature allows

you to easily communicate while performing other tasks, such as cooking. appears during hands-free conversations.

You can easily switch a call from normal conversation to “hands-free conversation”. To switch a call, press the speaker key during the call.

Press the end key, or return the handset to the cradle (AutoStandby).

When you dial the number in the standby mode, press the PAUSE soft key.

The handset microphone is located at the bottom of the handset (see “Controls and Functions” on page 6). Position yourself as near to the handset as possible and speak clearly.

If the line is in use by another handset(s), “Line In Use” appears in all registered handset’s display, that are not in use.
