Each bank of your
BC 235XLT
can be a trunk tracking
bank or it can be a conventional scanning bank. When you
designate a bank as a trunking bank, your scanner sets up
5 Scan Lists, which are simply listsused to store your
favorite IDs. Each listcan contain up to 10 IDs, so you can
store a total of 50 IDs for each trunk trackingbank (500 if
you use all banks as trunking banks!).
Scan Lists help youorganize the trunking system users
into categories. For example, you mightuse List 1 for
police IDs, List 2 for firedepartment IDs, List 3 for
emergency medical service IDs, etc. Once IDsare stored
in lists, youcan scan them like you scan conventional
frequencies. You can program your scan listseither
manually or during trunking search mode.
