WARRANTOR:UNIDEN AMERICA CORPORATION (“Uniden”)
ELEMENTSOF WARRANTY: Uniden warrants, for one year, to
theoriginal retail owner, this Uniden Product to be free from
defectsin materials and craftsmanship with only the limitations or
exclusionsset out below.
WARRANTYDURATION: This warranty to the original user shall
terminateand be of no further effect 12 months after the date of
originalretail sale. The warranty is invalid if the Product is (A)
damagedor not maintained as reasonable or necessary, (B)
modified,altered, or used as part of any conversion kits,
subassemblies,or any configurations not sold by Uniden, (C)
improperlyinstalled, (D) serviced or repaired by someone other
thanan authorized Uniden service center for a defect or
malfunctioncovered by this warranty, (E) used in any conjunction
withequipment or parts or as part of any system not
manufacturedby Uniden, or (F) installed or programmed by
anyoneother than as detailed by the Operating Guide for this
product.
STATEMENT OFREMEDY: Inthe event that the product does
notconform to this warranty at any time while this warranty is in
effect,warrantor will repair the defect and return it to you without
chargefor parts, service, or any other cost (except shipping and
handling)incurred by warrantor or its representatives in
connectionwith the performance of this warranty. THE LIMITED
WARRANTY SETFORTH ABOVE ISTHE SOLEAND ENTIRE
WARRANTY PERTAININGTO THE PRODUCTAND ISIN LIEU
OFAND EXCLUDES ALLOTHER WARRANTIESOF ANY
NATURE WHATSOEVER,WHETHER EXPRESS,IMPLIED OR
ARISINGBY OPERATION OFLAW, INCLUDING,BUT NOT
LIMITEDTO ANY IMPLIEDWARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITYOR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE. THISWARRANTY DOES NOTCOVER OR
PROVIDEFOR THEREIMBURSEMENT OR PAYMENTOF
INCIDENTALOR CONSEQUENTIALDAMAGES. Some states
donot allow this exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequentialdamages so the above limitation or exclusion may
notapply to you.
LEGALREMEDIES: This warranty gives you specific legal rights,
andyou may also have other rights which vary from state to
state.This warranty is void outside the United States of America.
PROCEDURE FOROBTAINING PERFORMANCE OF
WARRANTY:If, after following the instructions in this Operating
Guideyou are certain that the Product is defective, pack the
Productcarefully (preferably in its original packaging). Include
evidenceof original purchase and a note describing the defect
thathas caused you to return it. The Product should be shipped
