Making a call from the Phonebook

) When the phone is in standby, press [] to open the phonebook.

2)Scroll through the list with the [] or [] on the four-way function keys until you find the phonebook entry you want to call. (See Finding a Phonebook Entry on page 27.)

3)Press [ /flash] or [] on the handset or pick up the base corded handset or [] on the base to dial the num- ber.

The phone will automatically select a free line. To select a particular line, press the line key ([LINE1] or [LINE2]) on the base. Or from the handset, press the OPTIONS soft key, select LINE1 or LINE2 and then press the OK soft key.

4)Press the DIAL soft key to dial the number.

To insert a 1 in front of a phonebook number to enable long distance dialing, press [ tone].

To remove area code, press [#].
