Answering system operation

1.Press and hold

TAS/SETUP for one second to enter feature menu.

2.Press TAS/SETUP until desired feature is heard (see list at right).

Changing feature options

When the answering system is on, you can customize how the system operates. Press and hold TAS/SETUP to begin, then press repeatedly to hear each feature. Press SKIP or REPEAT to change the setting of any fea- ture. Or press PLAY/STOP to exit.

Choose number of rings before the system answers a call (2 to 7). There are two toll saver options: 2/4 (the system answers after two rings if there are new messages/ memos; otherwise, it answers after four rings) and 4/6 (the system answers after four rings if there are new messages/memos; otherwise, it answers after six rings).
