Getting Started

IMPORTANT– Please Read and Follow

Avoid steam burns by directing steam away from the face and hands. Slowly lift the farthest edge of a dish’s covering and carefully open popcorn and oven cooking bags away from the face.

Stay near the Built-in Microwave Hood while it is in use and check cooking progress frequently so that there is no chance of overcook- ing food.

NEVER use the Built-in Microwave Hood for storing cookbooks or other items.

Select, store and handle food carefully to preserve its high quality and minimize the spread of foodborne bacteria.

Keep waveguide cover clean. Food residue can cause arcing and/or fires.

Use care when removing items from the oven so that the utensil, your clothes or accessories do not touch the safety door latches.

In Case of Fire

Turn off appliance and ventilating hood to avoid spreading the flame. Extinguish flame then turn on hood to remove smoke and odor.

Smother fire or flame by closing the microwave door. DO NOT use water on grease fires. Use baking soda, a dry chemical or foam-type extinguisher to smother fire or flame.

GREASE - Grease is flammable and should be handled carefully. Let fat cool before attempting to handle it. DO NOT allow grease to col- lect around the oven or in vets. Wipe up spillovers immediately.
