Telephone settings
reset to default settings
The handset and the telephone base can be indiv idually reset to their
default settings by s electing r ESET in the SET UP HS or SETU P BS
menus respectively.
• Press MENU/S ELECT to display menu when in idle mode.
•
Press or to reach SETUP HS or SETUP BS. Press MEN U/SELECT.
• Press or to reach rESET. Press MENU/SELECT.
• The screen displays rESET? Press MENU/SEL ECT to conrm or
oFF/CLEar to exit to the previous menu.
• The screen displays S TorED and you’ll hear a conrmation beep.

When the handset
or telephone base
settings are reset
to default, all items
stored in memory
will be deleted.
This includes the
directory and call
log entries.

Temporary tone dialing
If you have pulse (rotary) service, you can change from pulse to touch
tone dialing during a call by pressing *ToNE. This is useful if you need to
send touch tone signals for access to telephone banking or long distance
services.
Press /FLaSH.
Press *ToNE. Buttons pressed after t his send touch tone signals.
Dial the number.
After hanging up, the telephone automatic ally returns to pulse
dial service.
