options while on callsSpeakerphone•
Press to alternate between speakerphone and norm al handset use.
Mute•
Press MUTE/rEMoVE on the handset to silence the microphone during a
conversation. You can still hear the caller but the cal ler cannot hear you.
• The screen displays M UTE.
• Press MUTE/ rEMoVE again to resume conversatio n.
Make, answer and end calls • Press / FLaSH or , then use the keypad to dial a number.

• Press /FLaSH, or any dialing keys (0-9, * or #) to answer an
incoming call.
• Press oFF/C LEar or put th e handset back in the teleph one base or
charger to end a call.
• The call timer will be a ctivated during a call to show call durati on.

Call waitingIf you subscribe to call waiting service and you are on a call when a new call
comes in, you will hear a beep. The caller ID information will be displayed
if you subscribe to caller ID service f rom your local telephone company.
• Press /FLaSH on the handset to answer the incomin g call and put
the current call on hold.
• Press /FLaSH at anytime to alternate between calls.
