The handset may be out of range. Move it c loser to the telephone base.
Do you have DSL ser vice? If yes, you need to have a DSL lter insta lled at every telephone
wall jack that has a telephone connected to it (page 2). Contact your DSL ser vice provider for
lter information.
Appliances or other cordless tel ephones plugged into the same circuit as the telep hone base
can cause interference. Try moving t he appliance or telephone base to an other outlet.
Other electronic products can cause interference to your cordless telephone. Try installing your
telephone as far away as possible from the following electronic devices: wireless routers, radios,
radio towers, pager towers, cellular telephones, digital telephone s, intercoms, room monitors,
televisions, VCRs, personal co mputers, kitchen appliance s, and other cordless telephones.
If your telephone is plugged i n with a modem or a surg e protector, pl ug the te lephone (or
modem/surge protec tor) into a differe nt location. If t his doesn’t solve the problem, re- locate
your telephone or modem fart her apart from each other, or use a differe nt surge protector.
The location of your telephone base can impac t the performance of your cordless phone. For
better reception, install the telephone base in a centralized location within your home or ofce,
away from walls or other obstructio ns. In many environm ents, elevating the te lephone base
will improve overall performan ce.
Disconnect the telep hone base from the telephone wall ja ck and plug in a corded telephon e.
If calls are sti ll not clear, the problem is probably in th e wiring or local service. Contact yo ur
local service com pany (charges may apply).
If the other telephones in your home are having the same problem, the problem is in the wiring
or local service. Cont act the local telephone compa ny (charges may apply).
