Battery
It takes up to 16 hours for t he battery to be fully c harged. When it is ful ly charged, you can exp ect the following per formance:
Operation Operating time
While in handset use (talk ing*) Eight hours
While in speakerphone m ode (talking*) One and a half hours
While not in use (standby**) Four and a half days
*Operating times are app roximate. Your results may vary.
**Handset is off the te lephone base but not in use.
The battery needs ch arging when:
A new battery is instal led in the handset.
The handset beeps.
LOW BATTERY is displayed and the b attery indicator on th e handset screen is ashi ng.

Do not open or mutilate the battery(ies). Released electrolyte is corrosive and may cause burns or injury to the eyes or skin. The electrolyte
may be toxic if swallowed.
Exercise care in handli ng batteries in order not to crea te a short circuit with con ductive materials such a s rings, bracelets, and keys. Th e
battery and/or cond uctor may overheat and cause bu rns.
Charge the battery(ies) provided with or identied for use with this product only in accordance with the instructions and limitations specied
in this manual.
