Using an Alternate Mount or Stand
If you plan to use Cintiq in an installation that requires the use of an alternate mounting plat- form, you can mount the Interactive Pen Display onto a VESA conforming mount arm or stand. A VESA mounting platform will require mount screws that are 4 mm wide with a
0.7mm pitch (M4 Regular), and a maximum screw clearance depth of 10 mm. Exceeding the clearance depth of 10 mm will damage Cintiq internal components. The hole pattern should be a 100 x 100 mm square. The VESA mounting platform will also require an aper- ture of sufficient clearance to accomodate the Cintiq cable and bearing hub (70 mm diam- eter).
To attach Cintiq to a different mounting plat- form:
1.Turn off your computer and power off Cintiq. Then disconnect all cables from between the unit and your computer.
2.If Cintiq is mounted, remove it from the display stand.
3.Protect the display screen surface by spreading a soft cloth onto a flat table and placing Cintiq face down on the cloth.
4.Using the appropriate screws for your mounting platform, firmly attach Cintiq to the alternate mounting platform. Be sure the integral cable and bearing mount pass through the mount aperture without bind- ing or excess pressure.
