CHECK OIL LEVEL regularly - after each five hours ol operatio-n-trSFE orL LEVEL ts MAtNTAINED.

CHANGE OIL after first five hoursof operation.Thereafter change every25 hours of operation.Removeoil drain plug and drain oil while engine is warm . Replacedrain plug . Removeoil fill plug or oil - minderand refillwith new oil of proper gr;de . Replaceoil fill plug or oil - minder .

CHANGE OIL (GEARREDUCTIONoptional)Removeoil level plug and oil fill plug . Drain oil every 100 hours of

operation .To refill,pour 10W - 30oil into filler hole until it runs out levelcheck hole .Replaceboth plugs .Oil fill plug has a vent hole and must be installedon top of gear case

Clean and re-oil foam elementat three month intervalsor every25 hours, whicheveroccurs first.

NOTE: Service air cleaner more often under dusty con- ditions .

1. Removescrew.

2. Removeair cleanercarefullyto preventdirt from enter- ing carburetor.

3. Take air cleanerapart and clean.

a. WASH foam element in a liquid detergentand water to removedirt.

b. Wrap foam in cloth and squeezedry.

c. Saturate foam with engine oil. Squeezeto remove

4.Reassemblepartsandfastento carburetorsecurelywith screw.

DUAL ELEMENTAIR CLEANER

Cleanand re-oil foam pre-cleanerat three month intervals or every 25 hours, whicheveroccurs first.

NOTE: Servicemore often under dusty conditions.

1. Removeknob and cover.

2. Removefoam pre-cleanerby sliding it off of the paper cartridge.

3. a. Washfoam pre-cleanerin liquid detergentand water.

b. Wrap foam pre-cleanerin cloth and squeezedry.

c. Saturatefoam pre-cleanerin engDe oil. Squeezeto removeexcessoil.

4. Install foam pre-cleaner over paper cartridge. Re- assemblecover and screw down tight.

Yearly or every 100 hours, whicheveroccurs first, remove paper cartridge. (Servicemore often if necessary.)Clean by tapping gently on flat surface. lf very dirty, replace cartridge,or wash in a low or non-sudsingdetergentand warm water solution.Rinsethoroughly with llowing water from insideout until water is clear .Cartridgemust be air dried thoroughlybeforeusing .

CAUTION: Petroleumsolventsare not to be used to clean cartridge.They may cause deteriorationof the cartridge.
