INITIAL SERVICING

1 . Beforestorling the engine, refer fo the engine in- sfructions.Be cerloin lhe the engine cronkcose is filled with the proper type oil ond thot oll en- gine serviceinstructionshove been followedcom- pletely.

2 . Fillfueltonk wilh o cleon, fresh,leod-freeor leod- ed "regulor''grode of outomotive gosoline. Do not mix oil withgosoline.

All nuls ond bolts should be checked ond tight- ened during lhe firsttwo (2) hoursof use.periodic checksshouldbe mode thereofler.

4.Thetiresore normolly over-inflotedforshipping.The recommended lire pressureis20 lbs.

	HANDLE BAR
	The hondle bor hqs two operoting locotions(see
	Figure2).In the fillinglocotion,lhe tinesore immedi-
	otely in frontof the operotor.In lhe tronsportlocotion,
	the engine is immediotely in front of fhe operofor.
	Uselhe hondle control lever lo unlock the hondle,
tl	then positionthe hondle in the desired locotion.

I	HANDLE CONTROL LEVER
	The hondle control lever conlrolsthe hondle swing
	locotionond fhe hondle height.Toswingthe hqndle
	bor, pull bock on the lever.Swinglo either righl or
	lett to lhe desired posilion,then releqsethe conlrol
	leverond swing bock ond forthslighilyunfillhe h<.rn-
	dle lofchengoges.Toodjuslhondleheighl,pull bock
	on control leverwithoulswinginghondle. Move hon-
	dle to desired heighl.Releoselever ond move hon-
	dle up ond down slightlyunlil hondle locks in lhe
	desired height position.NOTE:When pulling bock
	on the hondle conlrol lever,the clutch conirol lever
	is outomoticollymoved to the neutrolposition.

	ond disengoges drive to both the tines ond lhe
	wheels.

Pulling bock on clulch control lever from forword drivelo neutroldisengogesthe driveto the tinesond wheels.Furtherpulling bock on lhe lever engoges lhe reversedrive to the wheelsqnd the tiller moves bockwords ot fronsportspeed. (Tinesdo not rotote in reverse.When) releosed,the confrol lever will re- lurnto neutrolposition.
