23.The pulse sensor is not a medical device. Various factors, including the user's move- ment, may affect the accuracy of heart rate readings. The pulse sensor is intended only as an exercise aid in determining heart rate trends in general.
24.When using a barbell (not included), always make sure that there is an equal amount of weight on each side of the barbell.
25.Do not use a barbell that is longer than five feet with the weight bench.
26.When using the backrest in the inclined posi- tion, make sure that the support rod is fully inserted into the lat tower and the upright, and that the support rod is turned to the locked position (see page 19).
27.Always perform bench press exercises with a partner. Your partner should stand behind
you to catch the barbell if you cannot com- plete a repetition.
28.The weight bench does not include weights. The weight bench is designed to support a maximum of 360 pounds, including the user, a weight bar and weights. Do not place more that 110 pounds, including a weight bar and weights, on the weight rests. Do not place more that 50 pounds on the leg lever. Do not place more that 30 pounds on the weight car- riage on the lat tower.
29.If you feel pain or dizziness at any time while exercising, stop immediately and begin cool- ing down.
