BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME

Please check all packaging material carefully before discarding. Many accessory parts are contained within the packaging material.

Use a damp, soft cloth to thoroughly wash the heating plates of the waffle maker to remove any manufacturing residues. Rinse with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly. After cleaning, condition the non-stick finish by lightly wiping vegetable oil with paper toweling or a basting brush over the entire interior surface. Let the cooking oil remain on the finish. Do not use butter or shortening to condition the non-stick surface. Discard the first waffle made, as it will absorb any maufacturing residues that are missed in the initial cleaning. Condition the non-stick surface before every use.
