Connect Hydraulic Hoses

TRACTOR: Disconnect hydraulic hoses from between backhoe and tractor.

BACKHOE: Connect hoses together to prevent dirt from accumulating in quick couplers.

-OR-

Remove hydraulic pump from the PTO shaft if equipped. Store pump on backhoe platform to prevent dirt and debris from accumulating in pump adapter.

Attach 3-Point Arms

The lower 3-point lift arms and anti-sway links can be used on tractor when backhoe is removed.

Attach 3-point lift arms anti-sway links to tractor brackets as shown in Figure 19. Secure using clevis pin (26) and safety pin previously removed with 3- point arms.
