*,% Adjust the riving knife approximately 18" away from the main blade, using a 18" or 3mm hex wrench as a guide (=`^li\*.), and make sure the top of the riv- ing knife is positioned below the blade's highest point of rotation, as shown in =`^li\,) on GX^\*+.

The riving knife position can be modified slightly by shimming. Refer to GX^\*, for more details.
