TO VERIFY CURRENT MEASUREMENT:

You may use a digital multimeter to verify that the current measurement is displayed correctly. Place at least a 20- to 30-amp load on the system. Use the multimeter to check the millivolt reading across the battery shunt. The shunt has a 500 A 50 mV rating, which means a load of 30 amps generates 3.0 mV across the shunt. The reading at the shunt and at the point where the wires coming out of the meter join the shunt wiring should be the same, and when multiplied by 10 should equal the reading in the amps display of the Link 2000.
