What are MP3 files?

MP3 data that can be played
•Only MP3 discs created in ISO9660 levels 1 and 2 multiple sessions, Joliet, and Romeo formats can be played. MP3 discs created by the packet write method cannot be played.
•Only files with an MP3 file compression bit rate of 192 kbps or less or a fixed bit rate, and compression format MPEG 1/2, Layer 2/3, can be played.
•Up to 300 files can be recognized. The 301st and subsequent files are not recognized.
•MP3 files that can be played are MP3 format with an .MP3 or .mp3 extension.
•Up to 8 folder levels on a disc can be recognized. The 9th and subsequent levels are not recognized.
Creating MP3 files
To create an MP3 file, you need extra encoder (or conversion) software. By following the software procedure you can compress audio data from an audio CD into an MP3 file.
