WEP Key | The WEP keys are used to secure your data from eavesdropping by |
| unauthorized wireless users. Both the |
| clients must use the same WEP key for data transmission. |
| If you chose 64bit in the Encryption field, then enter any 5 ASCII |
| characters or 10 hexadecimal characters |
| If you chose 128bit in the Encryption field, then enter 13 ASCII |
| characters or 26 hexadecimal characters |
| You must configure all four keys. Only one key can be activated at |
| any one time. Select a default key to use for data encryption. |

Authentication | Select Open System, Shared Key or Both. |
Method | This field specifies whether the wireless clients have to provide the |
| |
| WEP key to login to the wireless network. Keep this setting at Both or |
| Open System unless you want to force a key verification before |
| communication between the wireless client and the |
| occurs. Select Shared Key to force the clients to provide the WEP |
| key prior to communication. |
